In the creative spirit of the Route 66 Centennial, Gathering Place invites you to an exciting evening at the GatheringARTS Forum on Thursday, August 13, at 6 p.m. in the ONEOK Boathouse. This forum of talented artists, architects, designers, and photographers, whose engaging works have shaped Route 66 art in the park, will offer diverse perspectives on collaboration, innovation, and placemaking.
Join us as local arts professionals showcase their work in brief presentations, then form a panel for lively conversation about collaborative projects, artistic practices, Tulsa arts culture, and relationships built through community partnerships.
Featured presenters and panelists are photographers Douglas Henderson and Anitra Lavanhar, architects Aaron Jones and Bret Pfeifer, artists/designers Cam Gregory and Kelly Sample, and Discovery Lab director of exhibits Susie Wachowski. Other contributors to Route 66 art in the park installations will also be acknowledged during the event.
Come be part of the conversation, collaboration, and community at the GatheringARTS Forum on August 13 at 6 p.m. Feel free to forward this invitation to family, friends, and others involved in the arts in any way. This event is open to the public.
