This is the second of our October Blues outings.  Golden Hour and Blue Hour light are photographic magic and our new Gathering Place provides many scenic opportunities.

Golden Hour will start at 5:41 pm giving us nearly a full hour to sunset at 6:38 pm.  Blue hour will begin as the sky deepens and should run from about 6:53 to 7:13 pm.  Pick your spot well before sunset since the Blue Hour will only last about 20 minutes!

We recommend a sturdy tripod for the Blue Hour.
Williams Lodge from the Patio

After our shoot we can pick up a bite to eat on the Patio at the east end of the Williams Lodge.

Perfect weather for Blue Hour photography are clear skies, but we'll settle for a spectacular sunset if clouds cooperate.  In the event of gloomy clouds with no prospect of clearing we'll defer to the following Tuesday, October 23 and our venue will remail the Boathouse.

This is the second in a series of Blue Hour events planned for Tuesday evenings in October.
