Milky Way over Skiatook Lake -- CANCELED

Come join your PHOTOG friends to photograph the Milky Way over Skiatook Lake. If the lake water is calm, there is a chance of catching the reflection of the Milky Way on the water. I would enjoy the company of some good PHOTOG friends. If you would like to join me, I will be at Osage Park Recreation Area from 8:00 till 11:30 p.m., weather permitting. Entrance to the Osage Park Rec Area is 9-3/4 miles west of beautiful downtown Skiatook, on Highway 20. Osage Park has a large paved parking area and typical camping area toilets. The area is lit with street lights, but they will be to our back while shooting the Milky Way. So you can feel safe. There will be boaters and fisherman there also, but they generally leave at sundown. Bring your lawn chairs, tripod, camera, and a good time. You may also want to bring bug spray to ward off mosquitos and other irritating insects.

Osage Park Recreation Area, Skiatook Lake. 9-3/4 miles west of Skiatook on Highway 20.
